The series of paintings  Pythagoras  is made of paintings inspired by pythagorean theorem proofs in form of jigsam puzzles. From 16 proofs of this type, I made several paintings.

1 + 3 + 5 = 9 corresponds to a decomposition of a 3 x 3 square in domaines of 1, 3 and 5 contiguous squares. How many ways have we to do that?

To the symmetries, we find 10 decompositions... which leads to several paintings.
